Sleep sound
Pink noise
Pink noise sits between white and brown noise: still steady and even, but with the high frequencies turned down, so it sounds softer and more natural, a little like steady rain.
Play Pink Noise
Opens the sleep mixer. Tap the sound to start it.
Pink noise vs white noise
Both mask background sound well. Pink noise is less bright, which many people find more comfortable over a whole night. Try it alongside white noise and brown noise to hear the difference.
How to use it for sleep
- Open the sleep mixer and tap Pink Noise. Add other sounds if you like and set each volume.
- Choose a sleep timer of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
- Switch on Bedtime Mode for a dark, dim screen, then put your phone face down.
- When the timer ends, the sound fades out slowly so it doesn't wake you.
