Sleep sound
Bedroom fan sound
The steady whirr of a bedroom fan, without the cold draught. Many people can't sleep without one, and it's handy when you're travelling.
Play Bedroom Fan
Opens the sleep mixer. Tap the sound to start it.
Why a fan sound works
A fan produces a steady, familiar noise that masks small sounds around the house. If you want something smoother, try pink noise; for something deeper, try brown noise.
How to use it for sleep
- Open the sleep mixer and tap Bedroom Fan. Add other sounds if you like and set each volume.
- Choose a sleep timer of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
- Switch on Bedtime Mode for a dark, dim screen, then put your phone face down.
- When the timer ends, the sound fades out slowly so it doesn't wake you.
