Breathing exercise 路 5-1-7-2 路 15 min
Tide Breathing
Breathe like the tide: in, pause at the top, slowly out, rest at the bottom.
Start Tide Breathing (15 min)
Follow the circle: it grows as you breathe in and softens as you breathe out.
The 5-1-7-2 pattern, step by step
- Tide coming in for 5 seconds.
- Pause at high tide for 1 second.
- Tide going out for 7 seconds.
- Rest at low tide for 2 seconds.
That is one round, lasting 15 seconds, or about 4 breaths a minute. Repeat it gently for around 15 minutes. If any count feels too long, shorten it: the breath should always feel comfortable.
