Ocean Breath
Breathe out through your nose with a soft whisper at the back of your throat, like distant waves.
Start Ocean Breath (10 min)
Follow the circle: it grows as you breathe in and softens as you breathe out.
The 5-7 pattern, step by step
- Breathe in through your nose for 5 seconds.
- Breathe out with a soft ocean sound for 7 seconds.
That is one round, lasting 12 seconds, or about 5 breaths a minute. Repeat it gently for around 10 minutes. If any count feels too long, shorten it: the breath should always feel comfortable.
Gentle reminders during the session
- Imagine fogging up a mirror, but with your mouth closed.
- Let the sound be gentle, just for you.
- Listen to your own breath like the sea.
- Let each wave carry a little tension away.
- Your breath is always here to come back to.
