Why This Guide Exists
OurDream excels in being ethical, diverse and inclusive, as such, any characters that are unsafe or have the potential for being unsafe will not be published for the public.
Here’s what this guide will help you do:
- Get your character approved by meeting the quality bar.
- Save the mods time so they can approve more awesome characters, faster.
- Improve the public catalog’s overall vibe — so everyone benefits!
💡 Think of this as a checklist, not a punishment list. It’s here to keep the community safe, fun, and creative.
🚫 Instant Rejection Triggers
If your character includes any of the below, it will be automatically rejected.
These aren’t up for debate — please don’t test them.
| 🚫 Topic | ❗ Why It’s a Problem |
|---|---|
| Incest or family play | Includes twins, siblings, parents, step-anything unless it’s clearly non-biological. Even vague hints count. |
| Non-consensual sexual assault | If the story revolves around forced sex or assault, it’s a hard “no.” |
| Slavery themes (non-consensual) | Owning, buying, or training people as property is only allowed if clearly stated as chosen and consensual. |
| Scat / vomit content | Even coded language like “chocolate” won’t pass review. |
| Real religious figures | Mythological deities are okay. Jesus or Allah? Not okay. |
| Bestiality | Always a no. |
| Real-life people | Actors, influencers, celebrities — even parodies that look exactly like them. |
| Hate speech or hate-fueled characters | No racism, homophobia, transphobia, or content that glorifies harmful stereotypes. |
| Hidden illegal content via other languages | Sneaking disallowed stuff past mods in another language = instant rejection. |
⚖️ “Case-by-Case” Scenarios
These aren’t always rejected — they’re just more complex. Mods will use judgment here.
| Topic | Allowed | Rejected |
|---|---|---|
| Watersports / urine | Vague tags like (watersports) or casual “squirting.” | Entire story built around explicit pee imagery. |
| Violence / torture | Mild fights, fantasy battles, or conflict. | Glorifying torture, real-world cruelty, or sexual assault. |
| One-image characters | Super detailed and descriptive profiles. | Low-effort “just threw this together” uploads. |
| Grammar issues | A few typos here and there. | So broken it’s unreadable. |
| Dark/coercive plots | Escape or rescue is possible, user has agency. | Non-consent is inevitable or eroticized. |
| Captivity / drugging themes | Rescue arcs and consensual romance afterward. | User encouraged to interact sexually with someone unable to consent. |
| Family dynamics | Normal family scenes with zero incest cues. | Anything that implies or could lead to incest. |
| Race-related content | Exploring diversity respectfully. | Using harmful racial stereotypes or slurs. |
📝 Quality Checklist for Approval
Mods want to approve characters — but they also want to maintain a high standard for public content.
Before you submit, ask yourself:
- Does my public description make sense and sound inviting?
- Does the greeting set a scene that hooks the user?
- Is there at least one solid paragraph (5+ sentences) in the scenario?
- Do the personality details describe who the character is, not just what they look like or their sexual preferences?
- Does my image prompt create a consistent, recognizable result?
- Does the profile image match the character and scenario?
If you answered “no” to any of the above, fix it before hitting submit.
💡 Pro Tips for a Fast Approval
- Focus on the hook. Your description should make other users want to interact with your character.
- Stay SFW (by default). You can make suggestive private characters later, but keep public uploads clean and safe.
- Balance creativity with clarity. Wild ideas are great — just make sure they’re easy to understand.
- Avoid over-complicating. If you need five pages of pinned memories just to explain the basics, it’s too much for public sharing.
❓ “Why Was My Character Rejected?”
Rejection doesn’t mean your idea was bad!
Mods are volunteers, and they work with limited time.
Here’s what might have happened:
- The content violated one of the hard rules above.
- The description or grammar was unclear.
- The concept was great but needed more detail before going public.
🔹 Good news: You can always keep your character as unlisted and share it privately!
🌱 Building a Strong Catalog Together
The goal of these rules isn’t to stifle creativity — it’s to grow a vibrant, safe library of characters that everyone can enjoy.
By following these guidelines, you’re helping:
- Mods process submissions faster,
- New users discover great characters,
- And the community thrive with high-quality content.
🏆 Final Reminder
Public submissions are a privilege, not a guarantee.
If your character doesn’t fit, that’s okay!
Use these rules to refine your ideas, experiment privately, and try again when you’re ready.
Great stories start with boundaries.
Boundaries help the best creativity shine through.
